About

A plain, current WHMIS course at a fair price

WHMIS Cert is an independent Canadian training provider operated by AFFINITI. We built it because most online WHMIS courses charge CAD 25 to 50 up front for an hour of material that the law makes identical everywhere, and too many of them hadn't been updated for the December 2025 regulatory changes.

How the course is written

Content is written from the primary sources: Health Canada's WHMIS pages and the Hazardous Products Regulations, the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety's OSH Answers, and each jurisdiction's OHS regulation. It is reviewed when regulations change; the current version reflects the amendments in force December 15, 2025. Pictograms follow the GHS specifications.

What we don't claim

• We are not affiliated with Health Canada, CCOHS, WHMIS.org or any provincial regulator, and no such body approves or issues WHMIS certificates.
• Our certificate documents the generic education component. Your employer is responsible for workplace-specific training and for keeping its own records.
• We don't publish fake review counts or "trained by" numbers. If you want to know what you're buying, read the course first; it's free.
