What this verification means

A found record confirms that the named person completed the WHMIS Cert online WHMIS 2015 (GHS) course and passed the final exam at 80% or higher on the date shown. The course covers the WHMIS education component: hazard classes and pictograms, supplier and workplace labels, safety data sheets, controls and PPE, and worker rights and duties, including the Hazardous Products Regulations amendments in force December 15, 2025.

The certificate covers the WHMIS education component. Employers add site-specific training on the products and procedures in their own workplace and review their WHMIS program at least annually. No government body issues or approves WHMIS certificates; WHMIS Cert is an independent training provider.
